YARF - Yucatan Animal Rescue Foundation

... are based on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Founded in 1997 in response to the critical need for veterinary care of dogs and cats in the area. Teams of volunteer veterinary professionals donate their time and skill to vaccinate, sterilize and provide acute medical care to animals and pets whose owners could not afford local veterinary clinic fees. They are currently focusing on educational initiatives and providing consulting and networking for other organizations interested in animal health throughout Mexico and Latin America. A 501(c)(3) orgainzation supporting benevolence to animals worldwide.
