Melanesia
Education Development Foundation Inc
The
mission of the Melanesia Education Development Foundation (MEDF)
is to develop and promote education opportunities for the underprivileged
children and students of Papua
New Guinea.
These
include:
Scholarship Fund Program.
Education Materials and Infrastructure Development Program.
MEDF provide scholarships or sponsorships as well as education materials
such as reading books, computers, school supplies, sewing machines,
vegetable seeds, school equipment, solar lighting equipment, etc.
The Foundation also provides rural
education support: Development of classrooms, dormitories, libraries,
teacher's housing, laboratories, auditoriums, electricity, telecommunication,
internet, clinics, etc.
MEDF
seek sponsors and project partners to support their cause; to serve
the less fortunate children and students as well as the needy rural
based schools in Papua New Guinea.
